Understanding the Doshas

In Ayurveda, the three doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha - are the fundamental energies that govern all physical and mental processes. Understanding your unique doshic constitution is the foundation of personalized healing.

Vata

Air & Ether

The energy of movement and change. Vata types are creative, energetic, and adaptable. When balanced, they're joyful and enthusiastic. When imbalanced, they may experience anxiety, dry skin, and digestive issues.

Pitta

Fire

The energy of transformation and metabolism. Pitta types are intelligent, focused, and determined. When balanced, they're confident leaders. When imbalanced, they may experience inflammation, irritability, and heat-related conditions.

Kapha

Earth & Water

The energy of structure and stability. Kapha types are calm, strong, and grounded. When balanced, they're loving and supportive. When imbalanced, they may experience sluggishness, weight gain, and congestion.
